In the artcile " Parents Say Bombing Suspects Are Innocent" David Herszenhorn tells hoow Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaeva parents believe that their children are innocent in the Boston bombing even though all the evidence is there. He also talks about how the suspects mother regrets living in the U.S because she believes the U.S took her children away from her.

This article includes beliefs and denying from the suspects parents. The suspects mother Ms. Tsarnaeva believes her son Tamerlan was captured alive and shot during a shoot out. She belives this because pictures were on the web of a naked man with similar looks to Tamerlan being arrested the same night as the shoot out. She thinks that the police took him and killed him out of anger. She also believes that they shouldn't have killed her son the should've just sent him to jail.

I believe that the youngest brother Dzhokhar should seek the death penilty and not recive proper treatment in the hospital which he is right now. I think instead of just dying right away he should suffer like his victims did. I also believe that the parents of the brothers should be sent back to Russia right away because there no telling what the would do to seek revenge for the death of their one son.

This article reminds me of the things any parent will say to deffend their child even if they knew that they were guilty. I wonder did the parents know about the bombing before it happened and just won't admit to the F.B.I because there affraid they'll seek the death penelty next.

In the article "Slaughter of the African Elephants" Samantha Strindberg and Fiona Maisels tells how poachers come and kill elelphants for thier ivory. Elephants are becoming more extinct because they're getting killed off. Elephants are gardeners for the rain forrest, they spread thier seeds all around helping plants grow.

This article Samantha says how there is a sickening stinch in the elephants rain forrest. The article is also saying that poachers shoould stop killing elephants for their ivory because they will soon be the cause to the end of the rain forrest. The elephants are whats keeping the plants and trees growing because of their seeds. Also when the elephants are killed the baby elephants are left without mothers and will soon starve to death.

I believe that poachers should stop killing elephants and if they are caaught they should be put in prison for life for murder. Ivory should not be sold anywhere because who ever is selling it is supporting the killings of elephants. 

This article reminds me of poachers that kill bears and other animals for their fur. This should become illgal because they're still killing animals. I also believe people who wear fur should take partial blame for the death of animals.

In the article "Super Bowl: Beyoncé ‘Louder’ Than Michelle Williams & Kelly Rowland?" Elanore Hutch talks about destinys child reunion and beyonce out singing Kelly and Michelle.  She also talks about singer Keyshia Cole going on twitter talking about Michelles voice. Their split up was also mentioned.

This article includes a quote from Marc Malkin who believes that Beyonce got someone to sabatoge Kelly and Michelles voice. Thier performance was supposed to be a secret and both kelly and Michelle denied they were going to be performing. Everyone was excited during the performance and would like destiny's child to reunite so some have different opinions,

I believe that beyonce did jeoparadize kelly and michelles voice during the performance. Beyonce likes to be the center of the attention and doesn't want anyone else to take her shine. I also think that Keyshia cole should of mined her business because she does not a good voice herself. Destiny's Child should NOT because Beyonce will just take all the shine.

This article reminds me of these girls I know. When they're together one wants all of the attention and the other two are jealous. They're not that close anymore and since they're not everything has been better. There is less drama around.

In the article "You May Now Kiss the Computer" Sarah Maslin talks about how Punam Chowdhury married her fiance of the internet on a computer. She also talks about other marriges tha happened over the interent. 

This article includes a quote from George Andrew of "Proxy Marriage Now!" who believe that people who do proxy marriage are immigrant frauds or use it for other reasons. Those reason are to get around local laws like those in israel and other countries who doesn't perform mixed religion marriages, couples that live in different countries and same sex couples. In some states same sex marriage is now legalized.

I believe people should not marry over the internet and have a traditional wedding. When you get married over the internet it's not really like you're sharing that special day with your partner because you are not there to kiss eachother and hold hands. Family should also be around. But for the israelian people and people from other foriegn countries should be able to marry over the internet because their religion is very judging if they have no internet wedding there will be no wedding at all. Same sex couples should also be able to marry over the internet.

If "Proxy Marriage Now!" believes that immigrants are doing marriage fraud why wont they stop marrying them?

In this article "Sister in Arms" James Dao talks about women joing the military and being half as strong as men. But also being scared when its time to pull the trigger and  kill.

This article includes quotes from woman who are in the war and their opinion on how it is being a woman in the military. Sergeant Persall says "I didn't sit around thinking, I'm a woman; I don't think I can carry this gun; i feel when the bullets were flying the men didn't care that I was a woman, as long as I was pulling the trigger." The article also talks about the physical strength in woman so they can perform certain task. For instace walking miles wearing heavy armor and carrying packs that weigh 100 pounds.

I believe that woman should be able to sereve in the military because they should be able to do the same things men do. Some woman are stronger than men and can do things better than them also. just because the are smaller and feminen doesn't mean you cant kill someone else.

This article reminds me of my cousin. Everyone in my family believes that woman shouldn't join the army or military but she thought different. She went and joined and has been there for 3 years and she says she's stronger and wiser than half of the men there.

Body Art

Body Art means everything, that's why I  have it.

Me dunking was my first tatto, I lost count of the others I have now.

I actually hated tattoos, I told myself i would never get like this .

But once I got one I was addicted.

My mom cried when she saw her face on my chest, it was the best reaction i got from someone.

It's been painful but not an issue.

Birth and death dates on my wrist.

In the process I thought of what to get next.

I chose this article from nytimes because I am very interested in tattoos and I think are good to have because they bring back memories and symbolizes something you believe in. My poem is telling how tattoos are important to J.R Smith and how its been painful getting them but his tattos mean something. The point my poem makes is to do anything you want to even if it's painful along the way. Creating a found poem was very interesting and easy because in the article I found very powerful words in this article and that made it easy to put together a powerful poem.

In "Kim Kardashian offered $10 million to Kris Humphries to settle divorce?"  hindustantimes and hollywoodlife  talks about Kim trying to settle her divorce with Kris Humphries to marry  Kanye West. Kim offered Kris $10 million  to sign the papers but he will not sign until Kim admits that their marriage and her show was a fraud. He also wants her to admit she was lying about her fertility.

The article includes quotes from Kim talking about her fertility problems  and how its a miricale how she got pregnant by rapper Kanye West.  It also tells that Kim thinks Ex husband Kris Humphries is only doing this to prevent her and Kanye's wedding.

I believe that Kris should just sign the divorce papers so Kim can leave him alone and he can stop beimg bothered with her. He should let Kim move on with her life and be with her unborn child farther. He needs to get over the fact that they were only married for 72days and she used him.

These articles remind me of my own uncles wedding. I think his wife only married him for his money and never loved him. Other people in my family also belive thats why she married my uncle also but my uncle never belive it until it was too late.

In this article "Historically Incorrect Canoodling" Stephanie Coontz investigated how people today seperate sex from love. The olny thing they care about is having sex and not loving eachother instead.

The article tell what valentines day was thousands of years ago and how people changed it over the year. One thing that stood out was how back in the day boys would drwaw names from a jar and whom ever name they pick that will be their sexual partner for the rest of the year. 

I think that valentines day is supposed to be about love. I also believe that you should make love oto your partner on valentines day to express your love for eachother also. I also think that marriage is not that big of a deal. Some people have been together for more than ten years and still aren't married. If you get married it will cost for a divorce so its just better to stay boyfriend and girlfriend so you caneasily break the relationship off. Its not bad for people to go around and sleep with other people they don't love, they're just having fun and if they have no boyfriend and don't look forward to settling down anytime soon what do you expect them to do!

This article reminds me of the movie friends with benefits. It's two people who are friends and not in a relationship with anyone else so they just sleep with eachother and have no feelings afterwards. 

In thsi article "The New Face Of America" Veronica M Majerol talks about how Hispanics, Black, Asian, American Indian, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander, and Alaska Native out number those of non-Hispanic whites now a days.

This article its includes facts and predictions from many people in the United States. Blackes who are reffered to as Minorities make up majority of the populatin in four states and Washingtion D.C.. Some cities that have more minorties than other races. For instance New York, Las Vegas, and Memphis. Reasearchers predicted that by 2050 there will be less whites in America. In Washington 65% of minorities  55%  are minorities Texas, 60% in New Mexico, 77% in Hawaii, and 60% in California.
There will be less whites because that race are having less children and blacks are having more so blacks will soon take over,

I believe having more minorities are good because there would be more opportunities for the other races to do things. For instance they could own their own business and get more jobs. Mostly all business are owned by white people today. We will become more known and people will care more about us because we have more power.

This article reminds me of my neighborhood because there are alot of blacks and other races. When whites come around they are very nervous because there are less of them there.

In the article "Philadelphia superintendent identifies schools he attends to close" Kristen Graham talks about what the superintendent closing many philadelphia public schools being closed. She also tells how he is combining some high schools also.

The article includes facts from what the school district of philadelphia has been doing financially. For  instance the district just borrowed $300 million just to pay bills and give paychecks through the end of the school year. Some of the buildings that are being closed will be sold so they can have more money coming in. Also some school will change there grades so it would go from being K-6 to K-4. Other elementary schools would be K-8.

I think that the school closing idea is horridble because there will be more bulling. If they combine K-8 there would be alot of kids in one school and too many to deal with. There will be alot of bulling going and one principle so she/he would not be able to get to all the students at once. Also they are combining highschools that have a history of fighting eachother. This may lead to teenagers getting shot  or jumped. If this is happening the principle can't suspend evryone. Also alot of teacher would be without jobs after the closings. Classrooms would have to have more than 20 students so it would be hard for the teachers to get to everyone and there would be distractions.

This article reminds me of a crowded auditorium at my school for many reasons. When our school are in the auditorium its very noisy and its not that many of us. teachers go to one person and ask them to be quite then the next person talks and it's very frustrating. It's not that many of us so imagine if 2 big schools and kids in class rooms are combined into one.

Kendrick Lamar was born June 17, 1987 in Compton California. Kendrick wasn't known by many people until he dropped his 4th mixtape Overly Dedicated. Kendrick is one of the youngest hot rappers in the game and he's growing on people. He raps about his life and a girl named "Sherane". Sherane is Kendrick's high school fling. He mentions Sherane in his album g.o.o.d kid, m.A.A.d city. This album is one of the most trending ever. The best singles of the album are "Backseat Freestyle", "Money Trees" and "Poetic Justice." 

On the album Kendrick received some good criticism and bad criticism. Kieran Yates says "Lamar has taken tropes from classic rap albums to make something that felt as exciting as Dr. Dre's 2001 more than a decade ago. Here was proof that Compton's contribution to hip-hop history continues." 

The bad criticism came from former bad boy Shyne. Shyne said that Kendrick’s album was "trash." Kendrick Lamar being mature turned the other cheek and let it go because he knew that there would be some people who dislike his work in life.

Most rappers today smoke weed and drank alcohol. Kendrick drinks but does not smoke. The reason Kendrick does not smoke is because he had a bad first time experience. Kendrick discusses why he doesn't smoke with Mr. Peter Parker radio host. He says he doesn't smoke because the first time he did the seller laced the weed with PCP and started foaming out his mouth.

In the article "All Work and No Play: Why Your Kids Are More Anxious, Depressed" Esther Entin talks about children that will grow up to be depressed and dependent. He say's they will grow up and be like this because their parents don't give them time to play and do things on their own.

The article tells how you don't see many children out in the street playing now a days. You usually see children in uniforms following directions from their coaches. It also tells how 145% of spend the day doing their school work and 168& spend most of their time shopping with their parents. Parents were asked in the article to compare their play time as a child to their children's play time. 85% told their children play outdoor less frequently and for shorter periods of time then they had.

I believe children should learn half of the time and play the other half. I believe this because children don't want to be in school all day then go home and stay in the house. If they don't go out and play with other people they would not be good at socializing with other children. They also should learn because they have to grow up and be something and also be mature. Playing too much leads to immaturity. Parents shouldn't push their children so much because their children will need someone to push them the rest of their lives.

This article reminds me of my cousin Sabria. Her mother always acts like she disappointed in her when she gets her test grades. She always says " good but you could of done better". Because of that my little cousin never goes outside nor does she act like a normal 11 year old.

In the article "Civil War in Syria Raises Questions About When to Intervene"  tells how the war is affecting Syrian people and how they're are struggling. Many people there need food medicine and shelter to survive and many don't have it.

This article includes a quote from the secretary of the state Hillary Clinton saying " We are thinking about all of this. There's all kinds of both civilian and humanitarian and military planning going on but the factors are just not there". It's also states how Syria's president Bashar al-Assad believes that foreign actors and terrorist for the initial revolt and violence . The fighting is taking place in one of Syria's largest cities Aleppo. Only a couple of Aleppo's 200,000 citizens remain in the middle of the bombing and sniper fire.

I think that the U.S Troops should stay away from Syria. I believe they try to help the people they're trying to attack will come to the U.S and try to attack us. But I also feel bad for the innocent people being killed. Also if the troops go over to Syria when they kill the person they're looking for they're also killing innocent people too.

This article reminds me of when the U.S Troops helped kill Osama Bin Laden and Muammar al Khadafi. When they killed these two horrible men his supporters were devastated. They said that they would get back at the U.S for killing their leader.
